The Ravenswood winemakers dinner was superb! The food with wine pairing dinner began with a wonderful reception outside of the barrel room where attendees where able to network with one another while sampling their delicious Rosato! Our man of the hour, Joel Peterson, joined us in our interesting conversations. Joel is the winemaker & co-founder of Ravenswood. Then afterwards, we all proceeded to the dining room where we were served a tremendous wine and food pairing dinner. Joel began the evening with some astonishing stories about how he first got into the wine business, his challenges & success with his winery, & where he is today with Ravenswood. What I enjoyed most about our wine for dinner event was my conversation I had with one of the attendees at the dining table. He talked about the significance of getting to know the wine first by way of sampling it as a way to learn how to match wine with food! Great conversations over food pairings with wine is what makes attending these wine dinners so great! Learn the truth about how you can also enjoy these memorable experiences!
